Today, Maison Labiche meets Marion Fritsch, author and poet, who made a name for herself under the pseudonym Un Livre, Une Histoire on Instagram, where she has gathered a large community around her poetry.
She recently published a poetic Advent calendar, Même l'hiver a des airs de caresse (Even Winter Has a Caressing Air), and an anthology, L'amour, les mots, la vie (Love, Words, Life), bringing together some of the greatest poets.
In Les Fragments du cœur (Fragments of the Heart), her first book, she tells a love story through its four seasons, exploring the nuances of passion and resilience.
Poetry came into her life by chance just three years ago, it was love at first sight. She quickly realized she was meant to write. Social media became her driving force: a space to share her first “poetic fragments” and establish a writing routine.
Encouraged by her community, she published her first collection, which naturally found its place on the poetry shelf. This is how she finally allowed herself to call herself a “poet,” a word she now fully embraces.

For Marion Fritsch, poetry comes from the heart and from how one sees the world. Words occupy a central place in her life: they connect, soothe, and restore meaning in an age when little is written.
For Marion, being a poet means looking at the world with sensitivity, combining thought and feeling. She likes to write about the ordinary, the imperfect beauty of people, and those fragile moments in everyday life that reveal humanity.
Through her writing, she celebrates love, life, and emotion, while reminding us that poetry can also be socially engaged and relevant. It is her way of making the world a little gentler.
When she was offered an embroidery, the word “poet” seemed the obvious choice. Embroidered over the heart in handwriting, it evokes the very act of writing, extending what gives meaning to her life and work. The chosen red, the color of love, reinforces this symbolism so dear to her world.
